Pennant has continued to manufacture and donated safety visors to help protect the front line staff actively fighting the Covid 19 Pandemic. We have now delivered visors to Covid clinics in Cheltenham and Harrogate as well as two Care Homes in Bath and a medical facility in Cirencester. Production will continue as needed.

Pennant are thrilled to announce the launch of its Basic Helicopter Maintenance Trainer (BHMT). Here at Pennant we have used our experience in transforming time expired airframes into ultra- modern customised training systems. The BHMT is the most recent in a line of synthetic rotary wing trainers and is now the latest addition to Pennant’s unique range of generic maintenance trainers. Due to the impact of Covid 19, and following direction from the UK Government, as of Weds 25th Pennant UK will be adopting the following working practises: Operations will be conducted through home working wherever possible. Non-essential staff will be placed on “Furloughed Leave”. All UK sites will close except for Cheltenham HQ, which will be manned by skeleton crew between the hours of 09:00 to 15:00, Monday to Thursday and 09:00 to 12:00 on Friday. With the Covid-19 pandemic worsening, the Board of Directors is mindful of the Financial Reporting Council’s most recent guidance recognising that additional time may be required to complete financial reporting, and related audit activity. Pennant are delighted to launch our Virtual Aircraft Training System (VATS) product video. VATS enables typical aircraft functional tests and fault-diagnosis procedures to be taught by either instructor demonstration or by student self-paced learning. VATS’s high-fidelity screen-based graphical interface replicates realistic scenarios, allowing students to interact and develop their knowledge and skills, preparing them fully for when it comes working on the real equipment. The recent signing of the MOU between Pennant and RDA Hunter, taking the Aviation Skills Foundation Charter overseas, has already proven successful in the dedication to help increase the training resources, experience and knowledge for those focused on a career in aviation.
