This year, Pennant attended the Chairman’s Awards in both Saudi Arabia and Australia, winning prestigious awards in the categories ‘Innovating for Success’ and ‘The Future of Aviation Technical Training’.
On the 28th January, Cliff Pennell attended the 2018 Chairman’s Award ceremony at the Nayyara Venue in Riyadh, Saudi:
Alan Hunter (Director of Capabilities and Training) and Chris Worth (Head of Assurance) nominated representatives from Pennant for their role in the introduction of State-of-the-Art Training Devices at BAE Systems Saudi Development and Training (BAESSDT), leading to Pennant’s win in the ‘Innovating for Success’ award category.
Alan Hunter, Director of Capability & Training at BAESSDT said: “It has been a pleasure to work with the team from Pennant to expand our portfolio of training and development packages to deliver unique solutions that offer long-term benefits to the Kingdom’s industries and people.”
On 8th February, Stavros Tsolakides attended the 2018 Chairman’s Award ceremony at the Adelaide Convention Centre, Australia:
“It was an honour to represent Pennant in receiving the BAE Chairman’s Award in the category ‘The Future of Aviation Technical Training’.
Contributing to the success of the Defence Aeroskills Training Academy in Wagga has been rewarding and knowing that the exemplar training model may one day be adopted globally is very exciting.
Our Wagga Team has worked tirelessly over that past few years to enhance training through multi-media enhancements, video productions and animations.”
Huge congratulations to everyone involved in Pennant’s win. We are incredibly proud to be recognised for our work in two important, commendable categories.
We look forward to an on-going innovative and progressive future with BAE Systems!
