As we approach the end of the year, I find myself reflecting on where we (OneStrand) are at and what we have accomplished together as one team.
It has been nearly two years since the launch of OneStrand LLC, the joint venture between a great software company (Absolute Data Group) and a great technical services company (AEC), both world-class companies in their own rights.
In late 2016 we launched OneStrand AIR, the first affordable hosted S1000D authoring solution. This year we have signed up not only smaller authoring groups for the hosted solution, but also a very large, prestigious client who saw the value of our offering. With 40 users located across the USA, we provide them with a turnkey S1000D solution in the cloud. All they need to provide are the people to do what people do best, collaborating with their respective team members to produce high quality documentation to the S1000D specification.
We also had a second sophisticated multi-national company purchase our off-the-shelf R4i S1000D Software Suite for their team of over 30 writers, located across various sites around the world.
On the services side of the business, we are so proud to be able to count The Spaceship Company as a customer who saw the huge benefit and value of utilizing our team of writers and illustrators to produce world class documentation for their space endeavors.
We are all very excited about our accomplishments this past year and the significant strides that OneStrand has made since its launch and we are looking forwarding to whatever new adventures await us in 2018!
