What Auxilium® 26.5 delivers for defence and aerospace programmes
The Auxilium® 26.5 release brings a secure, migration‑ready foundation for defence technical data, with new publication and report capabilities. For current and new customers, this means less integration risk, stronger security options and faster routes to compliant technical publications.

Auxilium® WebView – secure IETP access online and offline
Technical publications are only useful if maintainers can access the right content, at the right configuration state, wherever they are working. Auxilium® WebView (AXMV) addresses that by delivering browser‑based access to IETPs directly from a secure distribution server, supporting both connected and disconnected operations.
Once published in WebView, authorised users can access current and approved technical content through a standard web browser, in online or offline modes. For a deployed maintainer using a ruggedised laptop, that means a consistent viewer experience whether they are on a secure network or working in a disconnected environment.
By centralising distribution on a controlled server and providing a dedicated viewing channel, AXMV also reduces the proliferation of uncontrolled PDF copies. Users retain the ability to update a data module once in the CSDB and know that downstream viewers are working with the latest approved content, which is critical for safety‑related procedures and configuration‑sensitive tasks.

Security foundations ready for future cloud deployments
Auxilium® 26.5 strengthens the security foundations of the suite with new authentication options and additional database encryption support. At the application level, Auxilium® supports a broader set of authentication choices, including SQL Server Authentication alongside Microsoft Entra (formerly Azure AD) Integrated, Microsoft Entra MFA, and SSO options. This allows security teams to align Auxilium® access with existing identity governance, enforcing multi‑factor authentication where required and standardising how users sign in across on‑premises and cloud environments.
According to Microsoft guidance, TDE encrypts SQL Server data and log files to protect data at rest and help organisations meet industry regulations (Microsoft SQL Server TDE). At the data tier, the Repository Manager introduces support for encrypting the Auxilium® SQL database using Transparent Data Encryption (TDE) directly through the application. Enabling TDE through the Repository Manager gives a governed way to add that layer of protection without custom scripting.
These updates sit alongside previous improvements such as the move to the .NET 10 long‑term support framework and the introduction of multifactor authentication controls within the Auxilium® administration interface. Together, they provide a more robust platform for future hosting options, whether users remain fully on‑premises, move into a sovereign cloud, or operate a hybrid model driven by programme‑specific constraints.

GenS Provisioning Client: a modern path beyond OmegaPS CPCOM
Provisioning workflows are another area where legacy tools can hold programmes back. The new GenS Provisioning Client provides a commercial replacement for the OmegaPS CPCOM module, designed to support each customer’s unique material identification and provisioning standards and specifications, starting with the Specification for Preparation of Provisioning Documentation for Canadian Forces Equipment (D‑01‑100‑214/SF‑000).
The GenS Provisioning Client supports core provisioning activities directly within the Auxilium® environment, so users no longer need to rely on a separate CPCOM deployment. For organisations already planning to migrate CFTO data into Auxilium®, this creates a more coherent end‑to‑end toolkit for Canadian programmes.
