2016 – A Year in Review

As 2016 comes to a close, I was chatting with our Sales and Marketing Team about how quickly this year has gone… I know all people over 21 say that right!  When we started discussing what the team had achieved this year, it became apparent why the year literally disappeared!

Here is a peak at our year in review:

Launch of our Joint Venture Company OneStrand – On the 19th of January we kicked off the year with the launch of our new Sister Company in Oregon, USA, OneStrand LLC.

First release of R4i CDMS The release of our first version of the R4i Content Distribution Management Server (CDMS) occurred on March 15th.

Launch of ADG’s new Website – On May 25th we launched our new “mobile friendly” website with more streamlined and up to date content on S1000D and the R4i Product Suite.

The new R4i Customer Care Portal  Was made available to our partners on June 4th. Customers gained access to the new support site a few weeks later, including full automation of the release and activation of licenses by our customers.

Release of the industry’s first Modular Hosted S1000D Publishing Platform – OneStrand AIR occurred on July 21st together with our standalone (no CSDB required) version of our XML Authoring Tool R4i Writer.  Both products are available from the store on shop.onestrand.com.

The highly anticipated v9 Release of R4i CSDB and R4i Viewer occurred on August 5th The v9 release contained so many new features that a two part webinar series was required to demonstrate everything. We are very proud of this release and know our customers will gain work efficiencies from the new features we have implemented.

S1000D User Forum in Seville, Spain, September 26th to 29th The end of September rolled around before we knew it and staff from Brisbane and Sandy in Oregon flew out for the conference on the 23rd of September.  With a healthy attendance at the conference the team was kept busy for the four days.  We posted several follow-up blogs on the OneStrand website regarding the conference when we returned in October.
