Emulation & Simulation
Pennant produces PC screen based emulations of complex equipments or processes with accurate mathematical modelling of performance. Such systems typically allow free play fault-finding against a wide range of simulated fault conditions. The accurate system modelling adds another dimension to the training in that a fault in one subsystem or component is accurately reflected in other subsystems and in the overall behaviour of the target equipment or process. Pennant has produced such advanced systems in support of the BAE SYSTEMS Hawk aircraft for Indonesia, Australia, and South Africa and AgustaWestland.
For those training applications where physical contact with real or replica equipment plays an important part in the training, Pennant produces high fidelity hardware based simulators. Such simulators have high degrees of physical fidelity combined with high functionality modeled in software. They afford students access to safe, free-play exercises that provide a real alternative to "on the job" training on an actual platform. As with the emulator solution above, exercises are set up, controlled and monitored from a comprehensive instructor console.
