The PPS operating system allows the instructor navigation to any part of a lesson by opening and closing menu icons, similar to explorer. Images, Animations and Labelled Diagrams are identified by the designs of icons. Moving the cursor over the hierarchy text allows images and labelled diagrams to be previewed on the instructor screen. Animations can be started, paused, or restarted, screens can be blanked, and labels can be individually selected or deselected. Individual instructor’s notes can be loaded / edited and will be displayed with associated images, animations and labelled diagrams. A Sequence Control button and wireless mouse allows for remote operation.
PPSe allows the instructor to create new or edit existing lessons. Images and animations can be cut, copied, deleted, and inserted to existing lessons or used to create new lessons. New images and animations can be added by creating new menu icons and dragging and dropping the new image/animation. Further options allow hotspots, sound clips, and text boxes to be added to the presentation.
