Technical Author/Liaison Role – Power Generation Industry (Switzerland)

This position is based in our client's premises in Switzerland, and provides an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to integrate fully into Swiss working and social life, initially for a period of up to 12 months, subject to ongoing review.
Desired Skills
The ideal applicant shall demonstrate a high level of experience and possess the following qualities:
- Qualified to HNC level or equivalent in mechanical/electrical engineering;
- Extensive working knowledge of mechanical engineering principles;
- Qualified to City & Guilds or equivalent in Technical Authorship;
- A minimum of 5 years technical authoring experience working as part of an authoring team in a publications environment, preferably within the power generation industry;
- Demonstrate a high standard of English language skills;
- A working knowledge of SGML/XML is preferred, working in structured FrameMaker;
- Self motivated, being able to demonstrate initiative whilst being able to work within a team environment;
- Knowledge of the German language would be preferred;
- Experience of working overseas would be an advantage.
The successful applicant will be employed directly by a Swiss Company to ensure compliance with Swiss law.
